TLO COVID-19 information

Stay safe - Save lives

TLO is continuously monitoring the spread of the COVID-19 in order to be able to react to the dynamically changing situation at any time and to adapt our measures accordingly.

 

The health and safety of our customers, employees and business partners is our top priority and these measures are constantly updated, guided by current alerts and information from the World Health Organisation (WHO).

 

With these guidelines TLO is helping to protect its workforce, to interrupt chains of infection and to contain the spread of the pandemic. 

 

In light of this we have instructed all staff members and sub-contractors to adhere to the following guidelines:

 

 

TLO COVID-19 guidelines:

 

1.

Check their temperature daily. If they are not feeling well with flu like symptoms, they are required to stay home and self-isolate for 7 days if they live alone of 14 days if they live with people.

 

2.

When collecting parcels from the client’s premises we will always maintain the 2-metre social distancing principle and do not engage in gatherings with other drivers or client staff.

 

3.

When delivering, drivers are requested not to hand parcels directly to the customer. Parcels should be placed on the ground two metres away from the customer or at their door and then retreat two metres back from the door. 

 

4.

We are not capturing signatures as proof of delivery currently. No customer is to be handed a mobile device or pen to sign any deliveries – a name/photo of the delivery is sufficient, depending on the customers’ requirements.

 

5.

We are still ensuring the safe delivery of age verified shipments by checking recipient’s ID without contact and without objects changing hands.

 

6.

Currently all deliveries to neighbours are suspended.

 

7.

We are insisting that all our drivers wear face coverings and disinfect their hands regularly when delivering. Hand sanitisers have been provided.

 

8.

We have contracted a professional cleaning company (https://www.envirocontract.co.uk) to regularly sanitise our vans and have provided vehicle sanitising equipment for them to use daily.

 

9.

Staff should not travel by public transport to any of the locations we work from.

 

 

10.
